#WhiteHatWednesday: Dale

Each #WhiteHatWednesday, we will highlight one of the awesome members of Team YYC. This week, read on to learn more about Dale, Safety Manager.

Working here for 40 years (the last eight with the Calgary Airport Authority) has made Dale a resident expert on all thing’s airport related.

Starting as a ramp agent, he worked in many roles before he landed (pardon the pun) in his current position as a Safety manager.  His average day consists of safety reviews, investigating public incidents, and walking the building looking for potential hazards. 

“I’m a coach at heart”, Dale says. “I love training and working with new people.  When it comes to safety and customer service, I believe we can always turn a negative into a positive.”  

An avid traveller, Dale also loves a lot of outdoor pursuits and being a grandpa to his new granddaughter.
