#WhiteHatWednesday: Colette
Project Coordinator, Operations, The Calgary Airport Authority
Each #WhiteHatWednesday, we will highlight one of the awesome members of Team YYC. This week, read on to learn more about Colette, Project Coordinator, Operations, The Calgary Airport Authority.
If you want something done, ask a busy person - and Colette is obviously asked a lot! In her role she makes sure the airport operates effectively as it navigates through various projects by communicating information and procedures between numerous departments and organizations.
However, Colette's passion lies in being a founding member - and now chairperson - of the Culture Crew (The Calgary Airport Authority's committee created to support the unique culture of YYC Crew). Leading a group of eight dedicated members, "our goal is to promote and create opportunities for employees to get to know one another," says Colette.
With over a dozen events planned a year, the Culture Crew is almost like another full-time job - but it is "interesting and fun coming up with ideas that don't get stale," says Colette.
With two kids involved in extracurricular activities, the only time Colette has time for herself is at 5:50 a.m., when she takes a Crossfit class - important since she also participates in numerous Calgary Corporate Challenge events throughout the year!
