Upcoming retail closures

UPDATE:

After many years as retail options at YYC, a few of our long-standing partners have decided to close their locations.

Heritage Post

Heritage Trading Post is winding down all operations at YYC Calgary International Airport by year end. The three Heritage Trading Post retail locations will be closed in phases, with the first location (Concourse E) closing on September 16, 2018.

Starbucks Banff Hall

The last day of operation for Starbucks in Banff Hall will be September 13, 2018.  All other remaining locations will continue to operate to service our guests and TeamYYC/our community.

PrimeCARE Health at YYC

As of Monday October 1, 2018, at 17:00 hours, PrimeCARE Health at YYC will be ceasing operations.

For those wishing to contact PrimeCARE Health for further information or assistance, please contact PrimeCARE Health directly at their Douglasglen location at (587) 318-0740.

Sandstone Pharmacies at YYC will continue to operate a dispensing pharmacy operation at their existing location.  Services will include the ability to have current prescriptions extended for another cycle, travel consultations and flu vaccine/injection services. Sandstone is working toward adding prescribing authority for the pharmacist, to allow prescriptions to be written for some classifications and it is anticipated this service will be available by the end of the year.

We thank PrimeCARE Health for their service over the past three years and on behalf of both The Calgary Airport Authority and PrimeCARE Heath apologize for any inconvenience.

After many years as staple retail options in YYC’s Domestic Terminal, a few long-standing partners have decided to close their locations on or near August 31, 2018. These decisions were largely driven by both evolving passenger shopping trends and changes in traffic flows.

Thank you to the following long-standing partners of theTeam YYC community for their service.

  • Riley & McCormick, Banff Hall
  • Flames FanAttick, Banff Hall
  • Relay, Banff Hall
  • Starbucks, Banff Hall
  • Virgin Books, Kananaskis Hall
