What’s happening in retail - September update

As you know YYC's retail landscape is evolving based on feedback from airport guests, Team YYC and Crew. We’re excited to introduce more than 50 new and renovated 'eat and shop' locations this year and next. In the meantime, thanks to everyone for their patience as we move through our construction phase for a little while longer at YYC.

With this said, you’ll notice the following retail changes taking place at our airport this September:

Welcome 7-Eleven

Save the date as 7-Eleven will host a grand opening event on Sept. 26 with sampling, giveaways and more.

Chili’s refresh

Chili’s in Concourse A will close for renovations at the end of September and re-open later this fall. In the meantime, there are many other great food and beverage options located in the Food Court and within the concourse to enjoy.

iStore closure

iStore in Concourse C will permanently close at the end of September as we make room for the arrival of Rundle Essentials, a new concept to YYC opening this fall focused on local products and upscale convenient travel essentials. Fun fact: this store is named after Mount Rundle, one of the most popular scrambles in Banff National Park. With a summit of 2,949 metres (9,675 feet) and spectacular views we highly recommend adding it to your hiking to-do list.

The Flames Grill- COMING SOON

He shoots, he scores! Burgers, wings, beer and more is arriving to Concourse A this October. We are planning all kinds of fun things with HMSHost and the Calgary Flames in celebration of this new restaurant opening. More details coming soon so stay tuned!
