Participate in Green Shirt Day on April 8

After the tragic Humboldt Broncos bus crash on April 6, 2018, more than 450 members across the airport community banded together to raise $5,000 for the victims and families of those who lost their lives. Since you’ve showed us this cause is important to you, on Monday, April 8, The Calgary Airport Authority is participating in Green Shirt Day in honour of the Logan Boulet Effect, which supports organ donor awareness and registration across Canada.

Team YYC are encouraged to share a picture wearing green on social media with the hashtags #LoganBouletEffect #GreenShirtDay to let your friends, family and colleagues know you are a registered organ donor. Be sure to tag Instagram @Fly_YYC and #TeamYYC in your posts as well.

The actual day of observance is April 7; however, with that being a Sunday, we felt it would be more impactful to acknowledge the important cause as a community on Monday.
