New cell phone lot location June 6

YYC is expanding its footprint to accommodate future growth near the terminal; which may cause traffic delays during construction driving into the terminal on Airport Road. Drivers should provide themselves extra time and expect slower speed limits into the terminal and cell lot.  

Effective June 6 at 10 a.m., the cell phone lot (on Airport Link) is now permanently in a bigger gravel lot a block north of the current location. Drivers will experience the first detour on the east side of Airport Link N.E., crossing north through the existing Taxi Lot and Cell Phone Waiting Lot. Throughout the project, they will also experience traffic accommodations, lane closures, temporary signage and reduced speed.

We expect the major components of this project to be complete by October this year.
