Water and storm lines installed for interchanges project from April 24 – May 11

Summary: Westbound Airport Trail to northbound 19 Street N.E. ramp closure.

Unrelated to the beam installation, westbound Airport Trail ramp to northbound 19 Street N.E. ramp will be closed from April 24 – May 11.

In addition, both northbound and southbound 19 Street N.E. lanes between Airport Trail and 100 Avenue N.E. will be closed from May 1 to May 11 (*see map attached). Followdetours signs to Barlow Trail N.E.

Summary: Lanes reduced on Airport Trail and Barlow Trail N.E.

From April 19 - 27 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly, beams for the interchanges project will be installed near Barlow Trail and Airport Trail N.E.

Editor's note: Only from April 23, 24 and 26 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.:

• Northbound 19 Street N.E. to eastbound Airport Trail will be closed for safety purposes. Follow detour signs to 100 Avenue N.E.

Throughout the beam installation:

• All other directions of travel will remain open, but lanes will shift.

• Reduce speed, watch for signs and follow the instructions of crews.

Calgary Police Services (CPS) will direct traffic at the Barlow Trail and Airport Trail intersection overnight.
