Congratulations WestJet on 25 amazing years

Twenty-five years ago, WestJet had its inaugural flight from Calgary to Vancouver on Feb. 29, 1996. Since that flight happened to be on a leap year, we’re marking this special milestone anniversary of our most important partner today.

To publicly recognize this milestone, we’ve placed advertisements in the Calgary Herald and the Globe and Mail as well across Pattison billboards and signage throughout the terminal. 

The homegrown airline may have started small, but WestJet has grown into a world-class award-winning airline that continues to call our city and airport home.
