Terminal Changes at YYC

As of March 31, guests will use the airport differently.

Due to dramatically reduced passenger volumes, YYC Calgary International Airport is taking measures to adjust our operations and maintain the safety and security of the airport. 

The following changes will be in effect on March 31 at midnight: 

Domestic Departures and Arrivals

  • Parkade 1 remains open to long-term and short-term parking.
  • All domestic departures will be assigned to Concourses B and C. Concourse A and Pre-Boarding Screening A will be closed until further notice. 
  • WestJet domestic check-in will move across from Door 8.
    • Flights will depart from Concourses B and C
  • Air Canada will remain in its current domestic check-in location.
    • Flights will continue to depart from Concourses C and B. 
  • Air Transat, Air North, Flair, Summit, Central Mountain Air will move to ticket counter 7, across from Door 4.
  • All domestic arrivals bags will be dispensed on Carousels 7-10. Carousels 1-3 will close.
  • Rideshare areas remain on Departures Doors 12. Rideshare pick-up at Door 1 and 17 will close.
  • Taxi pick-up will be at Door 9. Sedan pick-up will be at Door 11. Immediate passenger loading will be at Door 11.
  • Taxi and sedans at Door 1, 3 and 4 will no longer be pick-up areas.
  • Pre-allocated Calgary Transit bus bays will remain. All other bus bay assignment will shift towards doors 7-11.
  • Any pre-arranged ground transportation will be centralized towards B and C arrivals.

International Departures and Arrivals

  • Parkade 2 remains open to short-term parking and long-term parking is closed.
  • All international departures will be assigned to Gates D70-71 and the remainder Concourse D will close.
  • Pre-Board Screening D will be closed. Proceed to Pre-Board Screening C in the Domestic Terminal Building.
  • All international and U.S. arrivals will continue to arrive to the International Terminal Building through Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
  • Rideshare areas remain on Departures Doors 12. Rideshare pick-up at Door 1 and 17 will close.

U.S. Departures and Arrivals

  • Parkade 2 remains open to short-term parking and long-term parking is closed.
  • All U.S. departures will continue to depart out of Concourse E. Gates past E82 will close.
  • United States Customs and Border Protection (U.S. CBP) will only open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily starting April 1. Pre-Boarding Screening E hours TBD. 
  • All international and U.S. arrivals will continue to arrive to the International Terminal Building through Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
  • Parkade 2 remains open to short-term parking and long-term parking is closed.
  • Rideshare areas remain on Departures Doors 12. Rideshare pick-up at Door 1 and 17 will close.

Connections

  • Connecting passengers may experience changes in how they move between flights, including security screening and limited YYC Link shuttle service and eat and shop options.
