#WhiteHatWednesday: Phoebe

Each #WhiteHatWednesday, we will highlight one of the awesome members of Team YYC. This week, read on to learn more about Phoebe, Owner, Vin Room.

A little over 10 years ago, Phoebe got out of the oil and gas industry and opened her first Vin Room in downtown Calgary.

With an MBA in business and a passion for great food, drink and service, Phoebe's second Vin Room location at the airport was recently recognized as the Best Airport Wine Bar in the 2019 Global Food and Beverage Awards!

Catering to the needs of her guests, each table has plug-ins, blankets, adjustable seating and luggage storage. Travelling dogs are treated like family on the pet patio with beds and homemade treats.

"People deliberately come early to the airport or connect through Calgary to visit us and enjoy great food and wine," says Phoebe. "We love making a difference in a person's day."
