Chachi's Week supporting Love for Lewiston

Chachi’s is supporting the Love for Lewiston foundation during “Chachi’s Week”. From May 20 to 26, customers can donate or purchase a Lewiston Heart in support of treatment for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). On May 25, which has been dubbed Chachi’s Day, three dollars from every sandwich sold at the restaurant will go towards Love for Lewiston.

Ronnie Olstad and his wife Jessica began the Love for Lewiston foundation after losing their son at six months old to SMA. The foundation will be partnering with the Alberta Children’s Hospital to launch the first SMA pre-screening pilot project in Canada.

SMA is currently the number one fatal infant disease. In 2018, Love for Lewiston raised over $250,000 towards the cause.
