Join the YAKIMA Social Kitchen + Bar team on Wednesday and Thursday evenings for live performances by local talent.

Mariya Stokes grew up in Stavely, Alberta. Stokes was raised in her parents' small-town bar, and at eight years old was sneaking in on Friday afternoons to sing with the local jam bad. She fell in love with performing, and is constantly playing shows all over Western Canada. Stokes' summer of 2018 was packed full of shows; most notably, opening for multiple-JUNO award winner, Jann Arden at the Palace Theatre in Calgary and playing at Country Thunder Alberta. She was also a top-12 for Project WILD finisher, which is a country-focused artist development program run by Alberta Music and WILD 95.3 (Calgary).
