WestJet takes flight for Atlanta, Georgia

A celebration kicked off boarding to WestJet’s inaugural flight to Atlanta Sunday morning. The flight will connect Calgary to the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

“What was once a day-long trip with a connection, is now a seamless and convenient direct flight,” said Michael Hayward, Vice President, Marketing and Guest Experience, The Calgary Airport Authority. “With Atlanta being a global hub, the opportunities for the final destination are in the thousands.”

The six times weekly flight will expand to daily service starting April 7.
