The Calgary Airport Authority bids a fond farewell to its leader of six years, Bob Sartor

The Calgary Airport Authority bids a fond farewell to its leader of six years, Bob Sartor. During this period of remarkable transformation, Bob’s leadership guided YYC through unprecedented highs and lows, leaving an indelible mark on our airport.

Under Bob’s strong leadership, YYC reached its highest point in 2019, weathered its lowest period during the pandemic and soared back to record levels in 2023. Bob saw to it that YYC emerged from the pandemic stronger, reaffirming its position as a crucial hub.

Bob’s commitment to fostering a customer-focused culture permeated every facet of YYC's operations. He created a leadership team that embraced innovation and adaptability, ensuring that the airport remained agile during one of its most turbulent seasons.

We express deep gratitude for Bob’s accomplishments during his six-year tenure and wish him well as he embarks on a new journey.
