This week, read on to learn more about Michael, YYC LINK Passenger Shuttle Driver. Michael, one of YYC's original LINK Passenger Shuttle drivers from its launch in Fall 2016, has lots of experience working with guests and working at airports. Before immigrating here three years ago from the Philippines, he worked as a nurse and as an airport firefighter. Providing great customer service is paramount to Michael. "You can tell a person's mood from looking at them, so I am always having to change my approach," he says. That approach means being genuinely engaged with his passengers, and, "lifting spirits and putting upset people in a calmer state of mind." Outside of work, Michael likes to keep fit and spend time with his young daughter.
