Team YYC pulled it off again at the Orbis Plane Pull!

On June 16th, Team YYC braved the rainy windy weather and pulled a 65-ton FedEx 757 cargo plane to support Orbis Canada– a non profit that prevents unncessary blindness in places where it is difficult to get the right treatment.

Out of 18 teams, Team YYC came in fourth in our fundraising efforts with $3,650. Thank you to the Calgary Airport Authority who matched our donations! With the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone who participated, pulled, cheered, volunteered or donated, the 2018 Plane Pull for Sight Calgary raised more than $37,700!

Not only did our incredible participants pull a plane, but many of them helped volutneer at the event, setting up chairs, tents, and bouncy castles! Thanks volunteers!
