Summary: Starting July 27 for an 18-month term, we’ll have three taxi operators at YYC.

Guests will have more options in taxi services at YYC. We’re going from an exclusive agreement to a system of multiple taxi service providers. After a thorough review of Requests for Proposal (RFP) submissions, we awarded the 18-month taxi contracts to Calgary United Cab, Calgary City Cab, and Associated Taxi, effective July 27, 2021. All other taxi companies can pick up guests by pre-planning through our commercial dispatch.

Guests and taxi riders hailing a ride can expect an elevated guest experience for a slightly higher fee. To offset the financial impacts of COVID-19, we’re increasing our outbound taxi fee from $4.29 to $4.50 + tax across the board. Guests will see this on signage on the Arrivals curb, online, and on their taxi metre upon entry into the vehicle.
