Service Superstar: Karen from Air Canada
On January 19 a family travelling through YYC missed their connecting flight to Los Angeles. Frustrated and seemingly out of luck the family did not know what to do. Enter Karen Olafson, an Air Canada employee who went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.
The passengers say that Karen was amazing.
“She asked us what happened and did absolutely everything in her power to help us out.” Karen provided them with food vouchers and a hotel for the night while they waited to catch the first flight out in the morning.
“Without her help, our trip would have started on a very sour note. We are so thankful we met her. She is a great customer service agent and definitely deserves to be rewarded.”
