Concourse A Mac's closure April 22

Mac’s in Domestic Terminal “A” Arrivals will close on April 22 to make way for 7-Eleven, which will open on July 1.

The closure of both Mac’s convenience stores will result in an eight-week period (April 22 to July 1) when there will be no convenience store open on arrivals level and guests will have to opt for alternate shopping spots, such as:

  • Sandstone Pharmacy: Departures Level, next to pre-board security screening area C.
  • Hudson: Departures Level, next to pre-board security screening area A; International Check-in Hall, behind Tim Hortons.

Bus tickets

We had several of you asking about where guests can purchase Calgary Transit bus tickets with the closure of the Mac’s stores.

Sandstone Pharmacies @ YYC now carry the following:

  • Single adult tickets - $3.40 each
  • Book of ten adult tickets - $34 each
  • Route 300 passes (Airport Boarding Pass) - $10.75 each
  • Adult monthly passes before the beginning of each month - $106 each.
  • They do not have youth tickets or passes as of yet, but are able to order them if there is a desire for them in the future.

These can also still be purchased outside at the tickets dispensers located at the bus stops. If guests are asking for directions please direct them to:

  • Door 15, Pillar 32
  • Door 1, Pillar 7
