Riding, rolling or running. Are you interested in actively commuting to/from YYC?
If you have, or ever thought about biking, running or wheeling to work in anyway, we want to hear from you!
As part of our commitment to creating a more accessible and sustainable airport, we are exploring options for Active Transportation to and from YYC.
Your responses will help The Authority determine the appropriate strategy and the resources required to make Active Transportation to and from YYC a more viable option for commuters.
Some of the specific items that we are considering adding to our infrastructure include equipment storage, clearer pavement markings, changing areas etc.
This survey is open to all members of Team YYC who work at or near the terminal building, whether they currently use Active Transportation, or not.
You can expect to hear more about our approach in 2024.
TAKE THE SURVEY
Our planning and research will complement and support work being done by the City of Calgary to create The Always Available for All Ages and Abilities city-wide mobility network (The 5A Network).
Active transport is defined as using your own power to get from one place to another.
For this survey, consider the following modes of transportation that are applicable to YYC, as follows:
- walking, jogging and running
- biking or e-biking
- skateboarding
- in-line skating/rollerblading
- non-mechanized wheel chairing
- scootering
