I’ve got the power!

As one of our key stakeholders we feel it is prudent to inform you that we are entering the final stages of installing and commissioning the DTB High-Speed Transfer Switch. This is an exciting time for the airport as it will provided a better service to our guests from a power reliability aspect.

ENMAX and the YYC Electrical Department has gone to great lengths to mitigate any risks or impacts to airport operations and our Stakeholders. Our goal is to perform all of the shutdowns and switching activities without interrupting power to the ITB or the DTB. We will be performing all of these activities after last flight as an additional precaution.

Operational Advisories will be sent out to keep everyone informed. Please call the IOC (403) 735-1300 if there areis any operational concerns during the scheduled shutdowns.
