Park YYC celebrated internationally for its innovative approach to enhancing operations
Finding a great parking spot just got even more rewarding.
Our official parking brand, Park YYC, has earned international recognition and an Apex Award at the 2025 International Parking & Mobility Institute’s (IPMI) Awards of Excellence for its marketing and communications efforts to elevate the guest experience.
You know those peak travel times when it feels like the entire city showed up at once? Or when someone’s circling the lot, already stressed, trying to find a spot before their flight? That pressure doesn't just sit on guests — it spills over into your day too.
We knew if we could get more people to pre-book their parking, we’d take the chaos out of curbside drop-offs and reduce congestion in and around our terminal. The result? A smoother experience for guests and more streamlined operations for those on the frontlines.
HOW WE DID IT
We reached travellers online, on the road and even at the rink through targeted ads, real-time weather-triggered messaging and creative partnerships with local organizations such as the Calgary Flames.
By encouraging guests to book their parking in advance, we were able to better forecast demand and manage our lots more efficiently. That meant fewer traffic jams, more availability when people needed it most and less pre-flight parking panic.

Parking is often the first and last impression we get to make on our guests, and while they may never see the behind-the-scenes work, they feel the difference.
